  • Develops a working relationships with winemaking and help implement strategies to achieve the quality objectives of the winery for given ranches.
  • Involvement with industry affiliates such as CAWG, Farm Bureau and others.
  • Oversee FLC's and their relationship with TFE.
  • Monitor vineyard yields and assess vineyard pruning strategies to achieve vine balance and the desired yields.
  • Work involves a broad latitude for decision-making and review of actions through goal attainment.
  • Stay abreast of current vineyard technology and implement pertinent strategies.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or related field. Master degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of vineyard experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in a leadership role.
  • A strong background in vineyard development.
  • Experience with mechanical and hand harvesting.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual - Spanish a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow through with projects.
  • Excellent organization and leadership skills.
  • Proactive in addressing problems for positive results.
  • Robust experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Process oriented with focus on continuous improvement.
